About the role
Who You'll Join
An AI-driven app builder backed by top-tier VCs has seen rapid revenue growth. The team is under 10 people and moving fast. You will join at a point where your infrastructure work directly shapes what the product can do at scale.
What You'll Do
- Own and ship entire infrastructure modules end to end, not just incremental fixes.
- Build and maintain durable workflow systems using Temporal or comparable orchestrators.
- Manage infrastructure as code using CDK or Terraform across cloud environments.
- Orchestrate fleets of containers or servers on AWS using Kubernetes or Docker.
- Design and tune production databases for performance and scale.
- Integrate AI coding tools into your daily workflow and move quickly because of it.
- Collaborate directly with a small founding team to set infrastructure direction.
Who You Are
- Shipped at least one complete product module end to end in production.
- Bring somewhere between 2 and 10 years of hands-on work in infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering roles.
- Have worked at a pre-Series C startup, a high-bar dev tools company, or built your own.
- Know Postgres, Redis, and ClickHouse at a production level, including schema design and tuning.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools daily and can explain exactly how.
- Move fast without cutting corners, with a track record to prove it.
- Bonus: Built infrastructure for AI agents, long-running ML jobs, or GPU orchestration.
