Product Engineer (Frontend Focus)

Who you'll join

An early-stage AI security startup is building a human risk management platform that uses signals intelligence to identify employee risk and deliver targeted behavioural interventions. You will work at the delivery end of that pipeline, building the interfaces through which those interventions actually reach people. With one product manager across the entire team, engineers own product decisions here, not just implementation.

What you'll do

1. Build responsive, production-grade interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
2. Own features end-to-end, from frontend rendering through to backend logic and data modelling.
3. Ship and iterate on video briefings, compliance training modules, and slideware.
4. Build and maintain real-time notification surfaces across Slack and Google Chat.
5. Extend the GraphQL schema safely, keeping it backwards-compatible as the product grows.
6. Improve data loading efficiency across the stack, reducing N+1 patterns on the backend.
7. Raise frontend quality across the team through code reviews and mentorship.

Who you are

1. Bring at least 3 years of experience with React as your primary frontend tool.
2. Demonstrate customer impact on your CV, not just technical or performance achievements.
3. Show comfort owning both sides of a frontend-to-backend integration.
4. Carry independent product instinct and can ask "should we build this?" without prompting.
5. Thrive in environments where requirements are not handed to you fully formed.
6. Have mentored or guided other engineers on frontend best practices.
7. Bonus: experience with video delivery systems, the Puck editor, or Slack and Google Chat APIs.
