About the role
Sr. Software Engineer (Fullstack)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary: $200K - $400K + Competitive equity
Industry: Consumer Mobile / Gaming
Who you'll join
A profitable, billion-dollar consumer app company with two separate top-ranked apps in the App Store is bringing its mobile experience to the web. The engineering team is small, around 12 engineers, and the work is technically serious: high-frequency purchase flows, complex transaction infrastructure, and a real obsession with craft. This is a rare chance to set the standard for an entirely new platform at a company that already has the audience.
What you'll do
- Build the web version of a top-ranked collectibles trading app from scratch.
- Own the full web stack end to end, from infrastructure to UI.
- Define React standards and best practices for the web platform.
- Partner with backend engineers to design APIs and data models.
- Build and improve internal tools and dashboards used daily by the team.
- Implement motion, micro-interactions, and responsive layouts that feel native.
- Set the architectural foundation for future Android development.
Who you are
- Bring 5+ years of fullstack or frontend-focused engineering experience.
- Have shipped consumer-facing products with complex purchase or transaction flows.
- Write code that others can build on, not just code that ships.
- Care deeply about craft, not just output: you notice when something feels wrong.
- Have opinions about technical trade-offs and can explain them clearly.
- Come from a consumer, marketplace, or fintech background where quality actually mattered.
- Bonus: have worked with React Native, motion libraries, or A/B testing frameworks.

Why you'll thrive

- Own a greenfield platform with no inherited debt and full architectural authority.
- Work directly with an engineering leader who has a mobile-first product background.
- Earn $200K to $400K base plus competitive equity at a billion-dollar business.
- Build systems handling high-frequency, real-money transactions across two live products.
