Data Scientist
Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site)
Salary: $200K - $400K + Very significant equity package well above competitive market rate equity

You are joining a profitable, high-growth real-money entertainment company with two number-one App Store products. The data team sits at the centre of every major business decision, from pricing and retention through to product features built from scratch. This is a small, elite team where your work touches millions of users and real dollars.
Who you'll join
A fast-growing consumer entertainment company building real-money games played by millions. The data team owns the quantitative systems behind pricing, retention, and monetisation, and regularly originates new product features from concept through to launch. You will work directly alongside the head of data science and help shape how the team grows.
What you'll do
- Dig into user journey data to identify churn-driving patterns and revenue opportunities.
- Build dashboards and visualisations that communicate findings to product, engineering, and leadership.
- Develop and optimise pricing engines, payout structures, and LTV models.
- Build predictive models for ad spend and user acquisition.
- Run A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to validate product decisions.
- Originate new product features from data insight through to engineering implementation.
- Measure and report on feature performance after launch.
Who you are
- Hold a technical degree from a top-20 university in math, physics, CS, statistics, or engineering.
- Bring 2 or more years of experience at a recognised consumer tech company, quant trading firm, or Series B startup.
- Write production-quality Python and SQL without support.
- Generate your own ideas, scope your own work, and drive to measurable outcomes.
- Communicate data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders including executives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with minimal process and no handholding.
- Bonus: Experience with marketplace or consumer growth products such as Lyft, Uber, or Airbnb.
